Who would we be without our staff? The answer is simple: we wouldn't be us.
We wouldn't be as well-known and trusted as we are today, we wouldn't be as passionate about our work, and we most definitely wouldn't have been voted one of the best places to work by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal or a Top Workplace by the Star Tribune.
Our staff is a group of smart, dedicated, and hardworking individuals who proudly represent Froehling Anderson and our 75 years' worth of experience. Recently on our blog, we have been discussing how our firm got its start, how we have grown over the years, and we even took a deep dive into the values of our brand. For this 75-year celebratory blog installment, it's all about our staff.
A few months back, we surveyed our team members about their favorite activities and their lives outside of work. Overall, we had many things in common as well as many distinguishing characteristics that show how individualized each of our approaches are. We want to share some of our findings to give you a better idea of who exactly we are.
70% of our staff grew up in Minnesota. We know this state, and we understand the unique nuances and needs of our community. Furthermore, 53% of our staff members went to 1 of the following collegiate-level schools: The University of Minnesota, St. Cloud State or Minnesota State University – Mankato.
The #1 favorite warm weather activity around our office is going to the cabin -- a quintessentially Minnesota activity. When asked about their #1 travel destination, the most popular answer was the beach or the ocean. Interestingly enough, Fall is resoundingly the favorite season for staff at Froehling Anderson - which could have something to do with it being outside of busy season.
Our staff loves Netflix, ice cream, and watching football. 63% of our firm has kids for a total 55 kids and 18 grandkids. We understand family life, and we understand how to leave room for fun. We find it pretty humorous that when asked about what they said they wanted to be when they grew up during childhood, only 4 people said accountant. Obviously, we have more than 4 accountants working at our firm! Each of their life experiences, their likes and dislikes, and their strong work ethics are what make the Froehling Anderson staff such an amazing and impressive group of people.
Froehling Anderson brings expertise into every project that we undertake and every client interaction, but at the same time we are made up of people just like you. We enjoy getting to know our clients and building a lasting relationship with each of them.
