Let’s imagine, for a moment, that it is 1946, Harry Truman issued a presidential proclamation declaring an official end to World War II. The average house cost $5,150, a loaf of bread was 10 cents and eggs were 59 cents. At this same time, a consulting firm called Froehling Anderson was established in the Twin Cities.
Yes, 1946 was an impactful year for many reasons and we look back on that time with pride. This year, Froehling Anderson turns 75 years old. Our firm has been around for what truly amounts to a lifetime and we think that is worth celebrating.
It feels as though, during our time as a firm, that we have seen it all. From periods of recession, times of prosperity and nationwide hope, our team has continued to dedicate themselves to client service. We have adapted, we have learned, we have taught, and we have grown.
Over the years, we are proud to have expanded our portfolio to include tax, audit, and accounting services alongside our origins in business consulting. We are also a member of AGN International -- a global association that includes separate and independent advisory and accounting services. All of this has allowed us to reach even more people than ever before and provide each client with the expertise that we have come to be known for.
Our 75 years in the industry have taught us that dedication is everything. Things are not always going to be easy; a statement that all of us can resonate with after everything that we've faced over the last year. What matters are that the people keep showing up -- and our team has continued to do that. We are here for you in the best and worst of time; our history has proven that.
We honor all the obstacles and victories that we have encountered as a firm. We look back on those times with a sense of gratitude. Everything that we have done has gotten us to where we are today. We exist in an industry that is driven by data and results, but at Froehling Anderson we are driven by the people, our clients. When we say "put the people before the numbers" we mean it.
So, we want to take a moment and say thank you. Thank you to our clients, our family, our friends, and our community. You are the pillars of our firm, and you are the reason that we do what we do. 75 years of change and one thing remains the same: the relationships that we establish with our clients matter. Our clients matter, and they always will.
